IgniteChanukah 10

Ignite Chanukah is the premiere event for young professionals 21-45 in Boulder. Ignite is a fast-paced, fun, thought-provoking, social, local, global event—and we’ve adopted the format for Flatiron Tribe. It’s a high-energy evening of 5-minute talks by people who have an idea—and the guts to get on stage and share it with their hometown crowd. Open bar & latkes all night. Ignite Chanukah’s twist is that the ideas you’ll hear about are connected with Chanukah or something Jewish. If you are interested in being a presenter, sponsor, or joining the committee, send an email to Ethan.Jones@boulderjcc.org.

Thursday, December 19 | 6 – 10 pm | $30 | Rembrandt Yards | REGISTER HERE
This program is now on JConnect, the Boulder JCC’s registration portal. Click here for more information on JConnect.

Ignite Chanukah 9

How do you survive the Zombie apocalypse the Jewish way? Do you think you know how to make a phone call? Or what Chanukah has to do with social justice?

These are just a few of the topics being spoken about at our 9th annual Ignite Chanukah on Wednesday December 5th! Come watch your peers get up and give fast-paced, thought-provoking, 5-minute TED-talk-style presentations on their passions. Ignite Chanukah is the premiere event for young professionals 21-45 in Boulder.

This unique event, taking place at Rembrandt Yard, blends the young adult Jewish world with the greater startup community, where the Ignite movement started. The event is fully catered and will serve delicious homemade latkes and applesauce, along with other treats.

A special thank you to all of our sponsors: Boulder Jewish News, Moishe House Boulder, Hazon, OneTable, Twisted Pine Brewing, Dunkin Donuts, and Hapa Sushi Grill and Sake Bar.

Don’t miss out on this evening of fun, community, food, and Chanukah joy!

Purchase tickets for the event and make sure you tell us you are attending on the Facebook Event. See you there!

Submissions for Ignite 2012 now OPEN!

Submissions are now open for Ignite Chanukah 2012!  Have you been itching to talk to over 200 young adult Jews about your passion?  Here is your chance.  Talk about something Jewish or put a Jew-ish twist on a topic you’re interested in.  Not sure what to talk about?  Why not contribute to our regular topics:  sex, drugs, and rock n roll.

Never heard of Ignite?  Not sure if this is for you?  What is an Ignite spark?  A spark is a 5 minute presentation about just about anything you want, accompanied by 20 powerpoint slides that automatically advance every 15 seconds while you’re talking.

Not so scary, right?  Trust us, this is a chance to have a lot of fun with some great people while talking about something you truly love.  Submit your idea here and tell us about your passion.

Also, if you want to purchase tickets for this year’s Ignite, they are now available here!
